Media Design (minor)
Customize your studies
This flexible interdisciplinary minor allows you to blend courses in art, design and media and there’s room to customize course projects to explore your career interests in conjunction with your major.
Beautiful and Useful
You’ll master the fundamentals of design and learn how to make beautiful, technically sophisticated digital media using creative tools from the Adobe Creative Cloud as well as traditional 2-D or 3-D art media. Because this minor is rooted in art and design strategies you will develop confidence in the expression of your viewpoint through creation of a personal style of visual communication in a variety of media. Your knowledge of content development and media theory will also help you understand your audience and meet the communication needs of diverse clients.
