Global Studies Latin America (GLSL) major

The Global Studies- Latin America major integrates Alverno's Global Studies major with its Spanish Language and Culture minor. This gives students a strong grounding in international affairs and significant language skills. A student will be expected to focus their assignments in classes like World Geography and Comparative Politics on Latin America. The Latin America Portfolio course (GLS-476) will give them the chance to integrate their work on Latin America from across the curriculum
