License to Master, Art Education/Adaptive Art (MA Degree, AE)

The Master of Arts program in art education/adaptive arts (PreK-12) is designed to answer a growing need for qualified, dedicated, experienced professional teachers in the classrooms of our communities. The unique timeframe allows the freedom and flexibility to become licensed teacher, with certificates in art education (1550) and adaptive arts (1859) and continue on to earn a Master of Arts degree in education, all within two years. Admission to this pathway requires prior completion of an undergraduate degree in Art; candidates who have completed an undergraduate degree with incomplete Art coursework will be required to complete remaining requirements.
