Previous courses and knowledge gained from experience outside the classroom sometimes qualify you to take assessments to receive credits for a course or program. This could help you save money and shorten your time to graduation by not having to take some courses for which you already have the demonstrated knowledge. To earn credits for prior learning, you must be enrolled at Alverno and provide evidence that you have met learning outcomes for specific courses or programs.
