INTERN-383 Internship Seminar (2 credits)
Departmental consent by faculty advisor required. Two 300-level courses or department-specific prerequisites in your major completed. Good academic standing required. Resume work with a Career Coach required during semester before internship semester. Course fee covers course materials and cost of poster printing for the Intern Poster Event (Fall/Spring/Summer). Contact the Career Studio for details. Check Moodle for specific course date information. At the internship site, the student develops the ability to apply classroom learning to a concrete work situation and at the same time develops skills in reflecting on and conceptualizing learning that comes from work experience. Emphasis is also placed on developing the ability to assess oneself as a key ability in "learning how to learn" from any work experience.
