Alverno College promotes a safe learning and working environment for all students, staff, faculty and visitors and does not allow any weapons in campus buildings. Weapons may include, but are not limited to, guns, knives, explosives, electric weapons, and billy clubs, or similar devices and impliments. This policy also applies to any person legally licensed to carry open or concealed weapons (excluding law enforcement acting in their official capacity). Students violating this policy may be subject to disciplinary action up to and including dismissal.
